          I always remember the marketing from GoWesty on their high quality exhaust parts, you can expect the system NOT to stay shiny and rust-free looking. “By using a stainless steel with LOWER levels of chromium, our exhaust system components tend to stay more ductile and will last longer—we’re talking function over form.” So there are advantages for certain applications.

            that’s interesting! My understanding was that the chromium made it more resistant to corrosion. I am having Leo do his homeschool writing assignment on stainless steel, so I’ll ask him to dig into it. 🤣
